St. Patrick’s Day is coming up soon! How do you plan on celebrating? Instead of doing the traditional ‘green’ decorating, why not do an Irish Pub theme? It may take a little more forethought, but the results will be awesome!
Things you’ll need:
- Bar glasses and towel
- Dart Board and bar mirror
- Pub sign
- Themed t-shirts for host and guests to wear (or my favorite pattern, argyle!)
- Coasters
Send out pub themed invitations a few weeks in advanced, like the ones photographed. Get all coordinating decorations, and serving ware and plan the menu! Steak and Guinness Pie may be an appealing and customary option. And let’s not forget the beverage of choice for Irish men, Guinness.
For entertainment ideas, try a limerick contest, St. Patrick’s Day games or just music or videos playing in background for noise. If you decide to get the dart board, that’ll be a great entertainment piece for the party. Have a competition with the winner getting a lucky surprise!
Whether it’s for St. Patrick’s Day or any other event, an Irish pub party is a great way to bring in the cheer!
