Celebrities Kicking it Super Bowl Style!

February 2, 2012
by Angela Yanez

With football as America’s most popular sport, the NFL is no stranger to high profile celebrity fans. Several famous celebs support their teams because of hometown loyalty. Others have friends or spouses on a myriad of teams, while some are just fair-weather fans. Every NFL team has some though, and with the Super Bowl coming up this Sunday February 5th, here is a rundown of the New York Giants and New England Patriots top celebrity followers! Not to mention the gorgeous houses they will be celebrating their Super Bowl party at. Some of them might even continue to celebrate the victory of winning!! Who do you want to win this Sunday??

New England Patriots Fans

Mark Whalberg

1. 2.

Formerly known as Marky Mark, and a native of Boston, Mark is a natural New England Patriots enthusiast. Check out where Mark will be anxiously awaiting for the Patriots victory! His Beverly Hills home has a Playboy-mansion worthy pool with a grotto and waterfall and a putting green. The home includes a media room, room with a pool table and a wet bar. Sounds like the perfect spot to host a Super Bowl party don’t you think?

John Krasinski

1. 2.

Best known for his role as the adorable Jim Halpert on NBC’s The Office, John Krasinski is a huge New England Patriots fan!! As the funny character he portrays on TV, we can all imagine he knows how to get ready for the Super Bowl game with wife Emily Blunt… in this lovely West Hollywood home! The two bedroom, two bathroom home features high ceilings and hardwood floors.

Conan O’Brien

1. 2.

A lifelong Patriots fan, Conan is sticking with his hometown team, as he predicted on Twitter that the New England Patriots would defeat the New York Giants by seven points in this year’s Super Bowl.  Not only is Conan good at predicting NFL games, but also real estate. Conan purchased this New England traditional home for about $10 million when he was preparing to move to the West Coast for “The Tonight Show.” The house features a screening room, a spa, a 1,500 bottle wine room and magical canyon views with outdoor kitchen. Great idea for a Super Bowl grill party!!

Stephen King

1. 2.

He’s as big as he’s ever been! They are bringing “IT” to TV. He’s got plenty of popular books. He’s the man! AND he’s a Patriots fan!! But let’s not forget his beautiful famous home in Maine! While there are countless reasons to visit Maine, fans of the macabre and the bizarre will always associate the state with the author. Most avid readers of author Stephen King would probably agree that the Stephen King house is exactly what they imagined it would look like!  It was built in 1858 for the sum of $7,000. An ornate wrought iron fence guards the property and grounds of the home. Check out the scary wrought iron bat statues!! Looks more like a great place for a Halloween party rather than a Super Bowl party!! Unless you are into the “scary theme” all year-round!!

Ben Affleck:

1. 2.

Talk about a true New England patriots fan! Ben Affleck has been going absolutely crazy for them since the beginning. Teaming up with his wife, Jennifer Garner, the couple just seems to be overall sports fanatics! But that is not the only great quality they share. It seems that they also have great taste in real estate! Check out this gorgeous house in the Holmby Hills section of Los Angeles in the neighborhood of $22 million! The 1930s Hollywood Georgian features nine bedrooms and nine bathroom, a sauna a humungous terrace with outdoor fireplace! I would love an invitation to this house for a Super Bowl party!!

New York Giants Fans:

Lady Gaga:

1. 2.

It looks like Lady Gaga is one big New York Giants fan.  She is well known for showing her love for New York sports, but who are we kidding, she’s just a huge New York fan!! But when Lady Gaga goes to Hollywood, her place seems surprisingly normal! She stays in a six bedroom, eight bathroom home in the hills above Bel-Air. Her rent? $25,000 a month. Whoa!  Seems like this would be a great crib to throw a huge Giants victory Super Bowl party! That is… if the Giants win!

Bon Jovi:

1. 2.

A Pop Warner football fanatic, Bon Jovi, has come to admit he is a true-hearted, passionate fan for the New York Giants! We can definitely see he has great taste in real estate as well. He owns a $22 million ritzy mansion in New Jersey located in Middletown, about 30 miles south of New York City. It is spread over a sprawling 15-acre area and glorifies with manicured grounds and electronic gates. It includes an “adult playroom” and a GINORMOUS TV! Tell me this wouldn’t be the greatest spot to watch the Super Bowl?!

Alyssa Milano:

1. 2.

Talk about a real New York Giants fan, no one could imagine Alyssa Milano would be such an extreme fanatic! So big of a fan, that she has even started her own clothing design for her favorite sports teams, including the New York Giants! Well what else can we expect from a beautiful talented actress if we just look at this gorgeous home, she likes to call home! Now this place has some cool personality to it!! The color, the yard, and the little tower in the corner give it a real flair!!

Tom Cruise:

1. 2.

We all love Tom Cruise, and now Giants fan will love him more! He is also a New York Giants fan! I bet he knows how to throw a great Super Bowl party. I mean just look at his house! Tom has plunked down $35 million for a quaint little Beverly Hills home for himself, Katie Holmes and baby Suri.  The house sits on 1.3 acres behind gates and a lengthy driveway, and sports a tennis court and pool.

Now you tell me, which one of this gorgeous houses would you like to be at for the Super Bowl this Sunday?
