Homes.com and Design Expert Beth Hunter Announce the Design Plan for Atlanta Crafting for Charity

As you recall from our previous post, Homes.com and ForRent.com have teamed up to make-over a dining space for The Nicholas House in Atlanta, GA. Coming along is design expert Beth Hunter, who shares inspirational tips and ideas on HomeStoriesAtoZ.com. Taking the world by storm, Beth attempts to create beauty through design and do-it-yourself projects.
In addition to being a wife and mother to two boys, Mrs. Hunter is also very down to earth. “I try to do everything with a sense of humor. I don’t possess special talents, I am just willing to take risks and enjoy sharing the stories with everyone!”

Beth has created a beautiful and family-friendly design for the space, which includes updated furniture, centerpieces for the tables, and an interactive wall art project featuring some of the current residents. Here are some before photos of the space:

First on the list was to come up with a color palette to inspire the design of the space. Luckily another friend of Homes.com, Mandi from VintageRevivals.com, recently posted a refreshing color palette for her little girl’s room. It fit perfectly for the inspiring space Beth wanted to create for the residents.

The design also includes other elements such as a stenciled wall, DIY canvas art, colorful chairs, chalkboards and centerpieces.
