Hippity hop! Easter is on its way! This year, style up a simple, yet festive Easter tablescape with bright and colorful Easter decorations for a fun party! Even if it’s just enjoying Easter brunch with family, a party table is the perfect way to make memories, celebrate the holiday, and take cute pictures. I’m sharing some simple yet effective ways to style up an easy Easter table!
For this table, I started my “vision” with a trip to the fabric store! I absolutely love using colorful fabrics as tablecloths. I grabbed a pretty polka-dotted lavender cotton. The great thing about fabric? You can wash it and reuse it for years! After I had my base color of lavender, I decided to use an accent color of yellow to make it really pop while still being “gender neutral” for the whole family to enjoy.
Use simple white dinner plates as bases and fun, colorful plates on top! The “fun” plate can be a paper plate, as stores often have cute, inexpensive options on their seasonal aisles. I picked up inexpensive little yellow baskets for the perfect easy “favor” for each place setting! Simply fill each basket with store-bought candy and add on a matching bow.
The centerpiece is my favorite piece out of all the Easter decorations! Purchase rye grass and grow according to instructions in a pot, bowl, or plant container. The growing process usually takes 7-10 days for the length of grass used here, so be sure to allow for this time.
Next, place floral foam inside a planter. I grabbed a tree branch from my yard (you could purchase a branch from a craft store if you have trouble finding one) and spray painted it white. Place it into the floral foam and top with Easter grass. Hang fun and colorful Easter eggs on the branches for a darling centerpiece!
Simple cupcakes topped with Easter candy eggs and placed in striped cupcake liners do the trick for an easy, yet adorable dessert!
