Now that football season is in full swing, I’ve been enjoying lots of watching on television at home with friends and family. I decided that these game day viewing parties needed a little pizzazz; so I styled up a “We’re Hot” Football Party, and am excited to share all the details with you! I’ve even included the free printable pennants at the bottom for you to download. Score!

Playing off my all-things-spicy take on the game, I created the menu to include lots of traditional football favorites with a hot twist. I’ve listed my menu below, but you can tweak yours to your liking. Morning game? Serve up spicy Bloody Mary’s or even set up a build-your-own-bloody-mary bar! Of course, you can definitely include non-spicy versions of these football favorites for kids and others. Try displaying a variety of dipping sauces for all the group’s tastes. Always include celery sticks or other refreshing garnishes to battle the heat!

Set up your homegating football table with these spicy treats and football décor! Choose a table covering in your team’s colors (fabric from the fabric store will do the trick). Jalapenos scattered throughout the table were the perfect garnish and their green color matched the football theme perfectly. A few simple white trays held the party food and an easy football centerpiece filled with peppers gave the table height. Footballs (in a variety of sizes) scattered throughout helped tie the table together. It doesn’t have to be hard to set up a simple, festive football-themed party table for your guests!

I created pennant flags in appropriately “spicy” sayings to decorate the table! Simply print, cut, and adhere to long skewer sticks! They’re a fun and inexpensive way to decorate (use them week to week too). You can also size these down to make inserting into mini jalapeno poppers and other spicy appetizers.
