Front Door Halloween Decoration Idea

This is the one time of year where we get to eat all the candy we want, right? Oh wait, is that just me who does that? I’m sure I am not the only one who sneaks into the candy bucket. If I am, don’t tell me.

I’m not a huge fan of creepy Halloween, so my decor usually consists of black cats and bats. One of my favorite places to add seasonal flair is to my front door. Wreaths are obvious front door decorations, but Halloween is a perfect time to try something a little different, like this front door Halloween wreath decoration.

I’m calling this my Glam Halloween Wreath. Everything always looks better with some gold spray paint. You can pick up a grapevine wreath and gold spray paint at any craft store.

Give the wreath a good coating of metallic gold spray paint, or if you prefer metallic silver spray paint, go for it – it would look awesome as well. Once your paint is all dry, go ahead and hang it on the door.

I always have this stretchy gauze stuff for Halloween. It is usually sold in bags alongside any other Halloween decor. If your door is black then grab the white version of gauze. I use it for draping over white tablecloths for my table settings, too. Take the gauze and drape it over the wreath in whatever fashion you like. There is no right or wrong way. I stretched mine out long enough and hooked it around the door handle. I had a skeleton to hang on mine, but again you can use so many things here. It can be colorful and quirky or super scary.

This glam Halloween wreath is a great way to welcome guests with a little seasonal decor. The best part is the gold wreath can be used for every season – you will just need to change the accessories.
