  1. Thanks! I love Pinterest, it is sooo addictive. It’s like windowshopping all day long. I love home improvement stuff, we just recently bought a home and I am always looking for tips on how to decorate on a budget.

  2. Pinterest is not letting me post the images I want. It is only showing the add images on the page. I’ll keep trying. 🙂

  3. Glad everyone is loving the Pinterest contest! It’s a hot new site that’s extremely addictive…why not earn a chance to win while pinning! 🙂 Good luck to all entrants!

  4. Thank you for pushing me towards ‘shopping’ for a home to rent / buy. It is something I should be doing anyway – I truly enjoyed the task. Bless you! I WILL return to your site!

  5. how do you enter if you don’t have a blog? I love pinterest, and took the time to choose my 10 favorite homes and pinned them to my new board but cannot complete my entry because I don’t have a blog.

  6. Hi Mary! You don’t need to have a blog to enter. Click on add your link. In the URL box, insert the URL for the board you created in Pinterest. Then just your name and email address. Let me know if you still have issues. Good Luck!

  7. I am confused on what you mean by include a link in the description? When you click on the pin it will pull you over to the site, is that what you mean, or should I edit all the descriptions?

  8. Hey Sara! For those participants who aren’t using the Pinterest book mark tool the pin may not pull the link which is why we ask that a link be included. If your pins pull the link, you are just fine! Good luck in the contest. 🙂

  9. Hi Marlenda. Click on the board so you are looking at all of your pins in the board. Copy that url and put that in the linky. Let me know if you have any issues. Good Luck :o)

  10. Hi Heather S!

There have been a few issues with the links, but I just checked and the link you just added worked. Thanks for re-submitting! Good Luck!

  11. Another Dream Home board, I love pinterest, maybe adding a “historic” home to your choice of features would be helpful for those of us who LOVE older well loved homes!

  17. Makes me really sad to see Pinterest being abused this way. This is not what the site is designed for. I guess it wont be long before it just becomes a big place for people to advertise, no longer a place to just go and share what i like, and what my friends like. Instead they will be “sharing” things to win so companies can advertise for free. Slowly it will lose what we all love about it.

  18. Nicole,
We’re so sorry to hear that you feel Pinterest is being abused by us and other brands. We assure you our contest and other Pinterest efforts do not mean to harm your connection with friends or your exploration of other users’ boards. While yes, our contest aims to get the word out there about Homes.com, our efforts are also to help Pinterest users enjoy photos of the homes we feel are beautiful and that we’re proud to display. Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. If you’d like to talk with us further about this, please contact me at gillian.luce@homes.com.

  19. I linked my Pinboard successfully, but messed up. I accidentally typed my last name in the email box, so I have a red “x” next my name and you don’t have an email. Is there something I need to do to fix this? Great idea for a contest btw!

  20. Hi Kim Paddleford! I am able to see your entry. The red x is there only because it’s the link you submitted and you are able to delete it at any time. I see that you inserted your last name instead of your email address and we will need your email address to contact you if you win, so what you can do is click the red x and delete your current entry link, then re-enter with all the correct info. If you have any questions or need additional help, email us at contest@homes.com

  21. Love this contest! I look at homes all the time so it’s nice to have a reason to now! LOL 🙂
Hope I shared my board right! 🙂
    Whitney

In the 1st box paste the link to your board on Pinterest, in the 2nd box enter your name & in the 3rd box enter your email address. If you’re still having issues, you can email me at contest@homes.com and I will try to help you more. Good Luck in the contest!

  26. Hi Susan Benson! The red x is next to your name because that is the link you submitted and you have the ability to delete your entry at any time by clicking the x. No need to worry, you entered correctly! 🙂

  27. Hi Christy! By looking at the time your comment came through I’m guessing you were unable to submit your link because the contest had already closed. It looks like your comment came through at 3.06am EST and the contest ended at midnight EST. Thank You for participating!
