The holidays are a busy time of year; so much to do and never enough time to do it all. While holiday parties are an exceptional time to get together with family and friends, they can also add to the stress of the season. To help with the decoration of those holiday gatherings, here are ten attractive and reasonably priced holiday tabletop ideas for your festive occasions!
- Have a collection of holiday props like ceramic nutcrackers or other holiday knick-knacks in the center or spread out.
- Lots and lots of candles. Place them floating in a bowl full of water or have pillars surrounded by ornaments.
- Turn empty clothing boxes upside down and drape tablecloth overtop to create a layered look to display your food.
- Use various sizes of glassware or vases to hold ornaments and adjourn with ribbons. Place in clusters on your table or one in front of each place setting.
- Pair a solid-color tablecloth with a holiday runner. Add cloth napkins and seasonal serving ware to set the stage.
- Set a chunky pillar candle (bought at dollar store) in the middle of a serving tray. Surround with a bed of evergreen and pinecones. (If feeling creative, spray pain pinecones various to add color)
- Use the outdoors for inspiration, use pretty containers and backyard evergreen clippings to create a full arrangement. Add ornaments or pinecones to the centerpiece.
- Fulfill dual roles with a beautifully decorated dessert inside of a clear cake stand. It will be showcased during dinner but gladly eaten afterwards!
- Wrap cinnamon sticks around three small candle pillars for enticing scents, décor and ambiance.
- Turn martini or wine glasses upside down. Inside the glass have cranberries, holy or ornaments and on the bottom of the glass (now the top once flipped) have a tea candle burning.
